La session locale française est organisée en collaboration avec l'Institut de Recherche sur la Fusion par confinement Magnétique (IRFM) du CEA (http://irfm.cea.fr/). L'IRFM est installé sur le centre de Cadarache dans le sud la France et regroupe environ 200 personnes travaillant sur une nouvelle source d’énergie : la fusion par confinement magnétique.
Le programme de la session en français est le suivant:
• 09:30 – 10:00 : Accueil
• 10 :00 – 10 :30 : Présentation générale de la fusion, des tokamaks
• 10 :30 – 10 :45 : Présentation du tokamak WEST, évolution du tokamak Tore Supra, opéré au CEA/IRFM
• 10 :45 – 11 :00 : Questions/Réponses
• 11 :00 – 11 :15 : Pause
o 11 :15 – 11 :45 : Présentation du projet ITER, en cours de construction à Cadarache en France
o 11 :45 – 12 :00 : Présentation du concours ITER-Robots, organisé par l'agence ITER-France
o 12 :00 – 12:05 : Qui Travaille à ITER ? Quels métiers ? Quelles études doit faire pour travailler dans la fusion?
o 12 :05 – 12 :30 : Questions/Réponses
Le programme international (https://indico.fusenet.eu/event/24/page/50-global-livestream) (en anglais) reprendra ensuite à 14:30 jusqu'à 17:00.
• 17:00 – 17:30 : Questions/Réponses en français à la suite de la diffusion du programme international.

Welcome to the French local session! Here you will find all the information specific to this local session.
The French local session is organized in collaboration with the Institute for Research on Fusion by Magnetic Confinement (IRFM) of the CEA (http://irfm.cea.fr/). The IRFM is based at the Cadarache center in southern France and brings together around 200 people working on a new source of energy: magnetic confinement fusion.
The program of the session in French is as follows:

• 10: 00 - 10: 30: General presentation of the merger, tokamaks
• 10:30 am - 10:45 am: Presentation of the WEST tokamak, evolution of the Tore Supra tokamak, operated at CEA / IRFM
• 10: 45 - 11: 00: Questions / Answers
• 11: 00 - 11: 15: Break
o 11:15 - 11:45: Presentation of the ITER project, under construction in Cadarache in France
o 11: 45 - 12: 00: Presentation of the ITER-Robots competition, organized by the ITER-France agency
o 12: 00 - 12:05: Who works at ITER? What jobs? What studies must be done to work in fusion?
o 12: 05 - 12: 30: Questions / Answers
