How to participate

If you are a PhD student in the field of nuclear fusion, then this is an event tailored for you. The aim of this conference is to have plenty of scientific and social exchange between the new generation of researchers.

Aix-en-Provence, France, will host the PHD Event 2025, organized at ITER.

Participants contribute with a poster or an oral presentation, the latter being in the PechaKucha format. Following up on the previous edition, abundant time is arranged for these contributions.

Accommodation and catering for doctoral students with application and abstract accepted will be provided by FuseNet. See Accommodation tab. Travel expenses are not covered. They need to be arranged independently by each institute.

PhD students who wish to participate in the FuseNet PhD 2025 Event are invited to register by filling out the application form and by submitting an abstract. The registration can only be processed after we receive both the application and abstract.

The list of registrations will be evaluated by the organizing committee and the selection of participants will be made based on their application and abstract. All registrants will receive a notification of the status of the selection (See Key Dates). First come first served policy applies until maximum capacity is reached.

Participants will check-in during the opening day via a QR code received with the participation confirmation email.
