How to Participate?

If you are a PhD student in the field of nuclear fusion, then this is an event tailored for you. The aim of this conference is to have a lot of scientific and social exchange between the new generation of researchers.

Lausanne (Switzerland) is the hosting city. EPFL Swiss Plasma Centre is hosting the PhD event 2023.

Participants contribute with a poster or an oral presentation, the latter being in the PechaKucha format. Following up on the previous edition, abundant time is arranged for these contributions.

Accommodation and catering for doctoral students with application and abstract accepted will be provided by FuseNet. See Accommodation tab. Travel expenses are not covered. They are arranged independently by each institute.

PhD students who wish to participate in the FuseNet PhD 2023 Event are invited to register by filling out the application form and by submitting an abstract. The registration can only be processed after we receive both the application and abstract.

After June 12th, the list of registrations will be evaluated by the committee and, based on the eligibility criteria, the selection of participants will be made. All registrants will receive a notification of the status of the selection. When eligible, affiliates to FuseNet members have priority. After this, first come first served policy applies.

Participants who arrive in Lausanne will check-in during the opening day via a QR code received with the participation confirmation email.
